Jigsaw Puzzle is a feature-rich digital jigsaw game designed for both desktop and mobile players. The game automatically obtains high-quality images from Pexels based on the selected topic, while also allowing players to upload their own images or photos for completely personalized puzzles. An Internet connection is required for automatically generated online images, but personal images can be used without this requirement.
Players can choose from 17 puzzle topics, including Animals, Architecture, Art, Backgrounds, City, Cyberpunk, Fantasy, Food, Landscape, Nature, Night, Ocean, People, Popular, Scenery, Space, and Underwater.
The game offers six predefined difficulty levels: 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, and 128 pieces. It also supports a custom number of pieces, allowing players to enter their own puzzle size.
The main gameplay uses drag-and-drop controls. Pieces can be dragged from the piece tray onto the puzzle board, and a piece is accepted only when it is dragged to its corresponding position. Correctly placed pieces remain on the board, while the score increases with each successful placement.
A reference image is displayed alongside the puzzle on desktop screens, making it easier to see the completed picture while solving the puzzle. On mobile devices, the reference image and puzzle board are arranged vertically to make better use of the smaller screen.
The game includes a real-time stopwatch displaying hours, minutes, and seconds, together with a score counter showing the number of correctly placed pieces out of the total. When every piece has been correctly placed, the game displays a "Completed!" message.
Players can use Show Solution at any time to automatically reveal the completed puzzle. They can also start a New Game, upload another image, or use Retry if an image fails to load.
For convenience, the puzzle pieces are displayed in a horizontally scrollable tray, with forward and backward navigation buttons for accessing pieces when there are many of them.
The interface supports five languages: English, French, Arabic, Vietnamese, and Polish, with translated menus, controls, instructions, topics, scoring, and help information.
The application also provides an integrated How to Play help screen explaining the objective, gameplay steps, Internet requirement, and main features.
