XCockpit is an external cockpit display and operating assist for the microsoft flight simulator (MSFS2020 and MSFS2024) and X-Plane (11 onwards). It allows you to place displays, switches and buttons on a customized view allowing you to control and monitor your sim airplane during flight without having to scroll the simulator view around. It can run on the same machine as your flight simulator or on a another pc connected over network. If you have Logitech/Saitek FI-Panels, you can display instruments there too. Since version 0.5 there is a AI co-pilot based on ChatGPT (OpenAI subscription required) or a locally running, compatible AI service (LM Studio for example). Some features: - The cockpit designer allows you to create your own cockpit views and (in a future version) allows you to share your creations with other users. - If you have an OpenAI subscription, you can use XCockpit as voice-controlled co-pilot during your flight. Caution: For MSFS2020/2024: If you intend to connect the app to your simulator via network, you have to adjust the SimConnect settings on the machine that runs the flight-simulator! This app is in a early development stage!
