Anything that comes apart the moment your finger slips. Mouse Click Holder presses the button and keeps it pressed, for exactly as long as you say. SET HOW LONG In seconds, minutes or hours. Thirty-five seconds for a drag, ten minutes for a render, two hours for something you would rather not sit through. The pad in the window counts down while it holds, so how much longer is a glance rather than a guess. WHICH BUTTON Left, middle or right — picked on a drawing of a mouse with the button lit, rather than from three words that all look alike. Middle-drag is what holds a pan open in a map or a CAD view. LET GO AND DO IT AGAIN Turn on repeat and it holds, releases, waits, and holds again until you stop it. The gap is yours to set. THE SHORTCUT IS THE WAY OUT While a button is held, nothing can be clicked — not this window, not the tray. So the shortcut is the real control, and the window says so while it holds. Press it to start, press it again to let go, from inside any application. Record your own combination in Settings.
