Text Snippet Saver keeps the text you type over and over, such as your signature, your address, a standard reply or a tracking link, in a tin that lives by the clock. CLICK TO COPY Click the tray icon and your snippets open in a panel above the taskbar. Click one and it is on your clipboard, ready to paste. Your three most used snippets stick out of the top of the tin, so the ones you reach for most are always in view. TYPE A SHORT CODE ANYWHERE Give a snippet a short code like ;sig or ;addr. Then type that code in any app, an email, a chat, a form, and it is replaced by the whole snippet. Short ones are typed for you, long ones go in through the clipboard in one go, and whatever you had copied is put back afterwards. It never fills in a code inside a password box. FILL IN THE BLANKS Write a blank like {name} or {order number} into a snippet and a small card asks for it before the snippet goes in. {date}, {time} and {clipboard} fill themselves. SAVE ANYTHING YOU SELECT Select text in any app and press Ctrl+Shift+S. It drops into the tin as a new card, marked NEW, and a notification tells you it landed. Press Ctrl+Shift+V wherever you are typing to open your snippets, and the one you pick goes straight back where you were. Both shortcuts can be changed or switched off. KEEP IT TIDY Search by name, code or any line of text. Put snippets in groups such as Work and Personal, drag them into the order you like, edit them, and delete what you no longer need. YOUR PHONE, TOO Scan a code with your phone's camera to link it. Your snippets show up on the phone, ready to search and copy into any app there. Write a new one on the phone, tap Save to PC, and it drops into the tin marked NEW. There is no app to install and no account. If you used an earlier version, your snippets are already in the tin, and Start with Windows carries over. Your snippets are kept on this PC, and codes and shortcuts work with no connection.
