Home Assistant Command Palette is an independent extension for Microsoft PowerToys Command Palette. It lets you search and control your Home Assistant entities, services, and dashboards from the keyboard. When you open Command Palette and type "Home Assistant", the provider expands into per-domain pages — Lights, Switches, Scenes, Scripts, Climate, Cameras, Helpers, Sensors, and more — plus pages for Calendar, Assist, Run Action, and Connection Check. Press Enter on an entity to toggle, turn on, run, or press it; entities without a direct service action open in your Home Assistant dashboard. The extension talks to the REST API on the Home Assistant instance you configure in Settings. You provide the URL, a long-lived access token, and optional custom HTTP headers (for proxies such as Cloudflare Access). All requests go directly from your machine to your Home Assistant — nothing is sent to the developer or any third party.

Ranking is exact name, then prefix, then word start, then substring, then entity ID, then area. Every word you type has to match.
