Add the task name, a helpful link to the task (if its something that can be done online), then all you'll have to do is update the due date for the task and this extension will keep you aware of how long you have until the next due date. Maybe your next due date is something you know you can finish in an hour and you are more worried about the paper due in a few days. Disable tasks with sooner due dates to get a feel for how long you have until the paper is due.
