After connecting this app to Google Drive you will be able to access the Google Apps Template Gallery directly from the "Create" menu inside Google Drive. This basically adds the former "From template..." link back to the Google Drive Create menu. IF YOU ARE ON A GOOGLE APPS DOMAIN and this is not working: Your Google Apps Administrator might have disabled Google Drive Apps. Authorization and confidentiality notes: The application needs access to your Google Account User's Information because it needs to know if you are a Google Apps domain user or a regular Google account user. This is needed in order to redirect you to the correct URL for the Google Docs Template Gallery. This is why you need to authorize the application on its first use for "View your email address" and "Know who you are on Google". This also potentially gives access to your email address but the application does not read, save or use your email address or identity in any way.
