Render selected text as HTML using Render Selection. This extension adds a a menu item to the context menu so that when you have text selected and you right click you can render the selected text as HTML in a new tab. Also you can right click anywhere and you'll have the option to render your clipboard in a new tab as well. Use it when viewing example html snippets on sites like stackoverflow or other sites.
